Whale watching along the southern pacific coast of the country takes place from November-February and June-August as the Northern and Southern Hemisphere go into winter respectively. Whales come to mate and give birth to their offspring during these months and give the traveler the opportunity to respectfully admire them at a safe distance from the boat.
